Here is a list of the latest changes we implemented in Aviary during Sprint 22. These will be available on the site as of March 11, 2019.
Highlighted search results in an index/transcript are now clickable to start playback on the player from the closest previous timestamp.
Possibility to assign “Super view” permission type in permission groups, which will override any global permissions that an organization created for the Collection that owns the resource.
Search look and feel:
Changed location and design of main search button on the Aviary homepage.
Changed button colors of “Duration” and “Date” filters to match similar buttons in the system.
Changed design of “Add search term” functionality and associated field selection dropdown.
Improved mobile display of search filters and results.
Implementation of “Resume” option for synchronization on ArchivesSpace integration.
Reduced white space between metadata labels and values in the Description tab of a resource.
Ability to delete “Pending Invites” from the list of user invitations in the organization backend.
Ability to include custom fields in bulk imports.
Changed color of timestamps in transcripts and indexes.
Fixed issue when importing OHMS XML file as an index when file contains only one index point.
Fixed issue with dropdown custom fields not displaying options in UI.
Fixed issue with Header Background Image hiding button.
Fixed problem with Collection level metadata not displaying properly in UI.
Fixed issue in group permissions where editing IP labels would change other labels in the table.
Fixed handling of zip64 and 7zip files during bulk imports.
