Dear User,

Here is a list of the latest changes we implemented in Aviary during Sprint 65. These are available on the site as of January 25, 2021. Complete change log can be found in the Aviary Knowledge Base.

New Features

              • Aviary now offers customer support packages for a variety of services that users have asked for over the past two years. The Aviary pricing page is updated with information about pricing for these services, as well as added information about what services are included in an Aviary subscription: https://www.aviaryplatform.com/pricing. 

Enhancements

              • Continued work on Aviary’s Public API including the following endpoints (user documentation can be found here: https://confluence.weareavp.com/display/AVIARYSUPP/Public+API+Documentation):

                • List Resources from a specified Collection

                • Get data about a specified Resource

                • Update an existing Resource

                • Get data about a specified Media File

                • Insert a new Media File

                • Update existing Media File

                • Insert a new Transcript

                • Update existing Transcript

              • Added the ability to search and sort the media files management table by Collection Title.

              • Improved performance on the Import management table to account for users who run high quantities of import processes.

              • Organization users can delete thumbnail images that they uploaded for any media file.

              • Updated the site-wide CSS in order to improve header and footer responsiveness.

Fixes

              • Removed extra white space from the right side of the Aviary media embed window.

              • Updated all hyperlinks in Aviary to open in a new tab if they point to an external URL and to navigate within the tab if they point to an internal Aviary URL.

              • Renamed “Resource Files” to “Media Files” throughout the application.

              • Fixed Firefox browser issue that didn’t allow Aviary media embeds to start at specified start time.
