Here is a list of the latest changes we implemented in Aviary during Sprint 31. These will be available on the site as of July 31, 2019.
New Features
ARCHIVEMATICA INTEGRATION!
Aviary users can now import Dissemination Information Packages (DIP) to create Resources in Aviary.
MEDIA MANAGEMENT TAB
New backend tab option where users can now see a list and manage of all the media files on their site.
Enhancements
Analytics:
Added “Media” to the General Analytics graph.
Sorting improvements to allow column independence.
Added Transcripts Table to Resource Analytics.
Added Indexes Table to Resource Analytics.
Added Media Table to Resource Analytics.
Added columns to the Resources Table.
Adjusted view counts for Resources, Transcripts, Indexes, and Media.
Reduced number of “Not Specified” results for the map view in User Analytics.
Pages redesign:
Added “Featured” labels to Resources and Collections.
Improved design for “About” tabs in Collection and Site pages.
Ability to define a favicon for your site.
Added count for Resource Search results for each transcript and index (visible in dropdown option).
Ability to swap out media files and maintain link to associated transcripts and indexes.
Improvements to the Sync Reports Table.
Ability to download Permissions Group IP table.
Fixes
Fixed issue with banner image position after redesign of pages.
Fixed issue with error code appearing when click on the back button on the browser.
